DISABLED VISITORS

It is imprtant to us that we give you an honest appraisal of its suiatability for disabled visitors

The advantages

• There is a shower room ; sofa beds and toilet facilities on the ground floor
• The village itself is quite level, being in the valley
• In the summer you can eat outside in a number of restaurants, so access is much easier. However, toilets may well require visitors to negotiate up to 3 steps.
• Car hire/taxi rank is very close to the airport terminal.

The disadvantages

• the path approaching Mandarin Grove is a little uneven but a wheel chair can be used.
• The external ramp just outside Mandarin Grove is made of rough concrete and is quite steep
• The internal ramp inside Mandarin Grove is even steeper but it is tiled.

If the wheelchair user is in robust health and there are 2 helpers in attendance, it can be done. However, I am by no means an expert and we would welcome the comments of future guests.
